Please e-mail me so I can send you the full report because I cannot fit all the supporting evidence I would like on
this page
1.) My religion is the true religion because the scriptures in my faith says so-
Of course we know that this is a fatalistic and redundant piece of evidence. All of the worlds major religions
all have scriptures they say are holy and divine.
2.) The scriptures in my faith are authentic because:
a. Predictions- All major world religions have had
people in their scriptures that have predicted future events. The Bible predicted the coming of Jesus. The Quran
predicted several advancements in science. These are just a couple of examples. E-mail me to get the full report.
b. Eye witness accounts- All religious scriptures had several
people to witness what it proclaims. There were eye witnesses accounts that proclaim they saw Jesus, Muhammad,
Moses, and Krishna all perform miracles (of course, not at the same time). The questions is-Why do we accept the
eye witness accounts of people who support our religion but not of those in another religion?
c. No contradictions (my scriptures are perfect)- There are all
sorts of websites that state that Christian, Muslim, and Jewish scriptures all have contradictions. Most of the time,
these contradictions come from some sort of misunderstanding or misinterpetation of the scriptues.
d. Scientific evidence supports it- This may also depend on the
denomination inside your religion. Some say GOD has nothing to do with science. Some say science is the evidence
of GOD. When science does prove a religion, the followers will quickly accept the scientific evidence. If science
doesn't agree with what they believe, they will simply say GOD is above science.
3.) Uniqueness (There is no other scripture like mine)- No two religious scriptures
in the world today are similar. Each one is unique in its own way.
4.) Other religions are just copycats of other religions- Some say Judaism
is just a more advaced copycat branch of Zoroastrianism (the first historical monotheistic religion.) Then they say
Christianity is a copycat of Judaism with more added stories. Then they say Islam took Christian and Jewish scriptures
and made a new religion. Some will say Buddhism is an altered religion that spawned from Hinduism. All these
statements are insulting to these religions. So, we cannot start down this road because it can ultimatlely end up destroying
your own religion as well.
5.) I was suddenly transformed when I entered into my religion- Every member of
every religion has a transformation story. I haven't meet a religious person yet that hasn't had one of these stories.
6.) Miracle stories of ordinary people in my religion getting supernatural blessings-
If you don't think people in other religions don't get supernatural blessings, then watch "World's Most Amazing Videos" on
Spike T.V. They have people from all over the world surviving deadly scenerios by the grace of GOD.
7.) I have been taught that way- This depends on where you were raised. If
you were raised in a Hindu community, then you will be taught that Hinduism is the true way or religion. Even in school,
you would be taught to follow Hindu teachings.
8.) Other religions have terrorists and sinners. Mine doesn't- Every religion
has terrorists and sinners (past and present.) A few examples in Christianity are the Klu Klux Klan,
Timothy McVeigh, Jim Jones, and the Army of GOD. In Islam, we have Osama Bin Lauden and Al Qaeda. There are
also terrorist groups in Buddhism and Hinduism as well but most of them don't officially refer to themselves by name.
9.) My religion is the largest/ fastest growing/ most diverse/ oldest religion in the world.
This proves my religion is the most authentic one.- Just about every religion in the entire world has
been the largest religion at one point or another. Every religion is unique in one form or another.
10.) My religion has millions/ billions of followers including doctors, lawyers, and other educated
followers. They can't all be wrong.- Did you ever think that all of them could be right? Just
because something contains truth does not mean everything else contains falsehood. If I say milk is good for the body
and you say vegetables are good for the body, does that mean one of us are right and one of us are wrong? No.
We are both correct. Our mode of thinking needs to change in this direction.
You’re probably asking yourself
one question right now. That is “If all the religions have valid reasons
for believing what they believe, what is the right religion to join?” The
answer is simple, which ever one works for you. Or better yet, whatever religion
you feel comfortable with. There was a story in the Bible (2nd Kings)
where Elijah said his beliefs were the correct ones and the worshippers of the god Baal said their beliefs were the correct
ones. Elijah then proposes a challenge.
He orders an alter to be placed in front of all the people. He then tells
the followers of Baal to make their god rain down fire and burn down this alter. They
could not get the alter to burn. When it was Elijah’s turn, he tells them to soak the alter in water further showing the might of his GOD. Fire suddenly comes down from the sky and Elijah has proven his beliefs are the correct ones. Why can’t it be that simple now? If I pray to the same
GOD of Elijah, why can’t he do that for me so I would know what religions is false and which is true? What about the other god’s people in other faiths worship?
Aren’t these gods supernatural as well? Why can’t they do
the same miracles? Maybe because GOD has laid out his groundwork and is waiting
for us to make the right decision. You know if medicine works if you take it
and it gives results. If someone converts to a religion that is not yours and
it give them results, isn’t that the religion they should be in? We all
know milk is great for the body. It is better than soda pops and it gives us
protein. But everyone cannot drink milk.
Some people are lactose intolerant. So even though milk gives most people
great health, GOD made some people to the point where they are not designed to drink milk.
Could it be the same for religion? Remember, GOD never told anyone to
establish a religion. When he (GOD) gave Moses the laws in the books of Exodus,
Leviticus, and Deuteronomy, did he say “Moses, now that you have my laws, start a religion called Judaism?” No he didn’t! Did Jesus say “Forget
the Jewish religion. I have a new religion for you. It will be called Christianity?” From what I have read
in Matthew 5:17-19, he said “Think not that I have come to destroy the laws of Moses.
I have come not to destroy these laws but to fulfill them. And if anyone
changes one jot of the Law of Moses they will be least in GOD’s eye.” The
definition of the word “religion” is a way of life or a way to structure one’s life. Some Buddhists do not believe in a concept of gods or goddesses, but Buddhism is a religion. Think about this. What is more important, believing a religion
is authentic or following what that religion says? What if someone in another
religion doesn’t believe the people in your scriptures were divine or were divinely authentic but follow all the tenants
in your religion? It’s time we think outside of the mold and look
at the big picture for once.
You have to understand something.
If we truly want peace, we have to change our mode of thinking. Obviously, since the old way isn't and hasn't worked,
isn't it time for a new approach? If anyone disagrees with anything I have said, immediately let me know.
